I will be closing my bank account with First Horizon as soon as possible, despite being a loyal customer since 2010. My encounter as of 10/17 Mr. Interim Bank Manager (the president is on vacation, don’t worry we will be talking with her when she’s back from vacation) came up to my car and asked if I worked at the bank to which I responded no. He then asks if I worked over there pointing to the establishment next door, and I told him yes I did. He raised his voice to a yell saying I wasn't allowed to park there, and I told him my management team told me to park here (at the bank) specifically. He is now yelling at me telling me that my management team had absolutely no authority to tell me to park at the bank and that he was going to call a tow truck and have me towed. I tried to explain to him that our team has spoken with the bank and that they gave us permission. At this point the interim manager is yelling at me and I'm getting terrified so I roll up my window and pretend to read hoping he will leave so I can call my management. He takes pictures of my vehicle, walks to the passenger door, slams on my window and door yelling that he's calling a tow truck right now. He then walked back into the bank on his phone presumably calling a tow truck.I called my boss absolutely distraught and on the cusp of a panic attack freaking out that this man was yelling at me at 8 in the morning because I was parking where I was told to. She told me to park in our buildings parking lot. Which I thought was where this story would end. Unfortunately it was not.. After I was pulled into the lot of our building and parked he proceeded to come back out of the bank and walk around the parking lot to make sure I wasn't anywhere close. He stared down my car from the other parking lot and went and moved his car where I had initially parked this morning. By this time I'm in a full blown panic attack and on the phone with my mom because I couldn't breathe. It took about 15 minutes and 3 anxiety pills for me to be able to calm down enough to breathe again. I am shocked to my core that a 60 year old branch manager would treat someone so disrespectfully when all he had to do was kindly as me to move. Banging on my car to the point that it’s shaking and I’m in tears is unacceptable boater the situation. I will be losing my account with First Horizon as soon as possible and will never bank with them again. I can’t believe the disrespect after banking with them for 16 almost 17 years.
