THIS BANK SUUUUUUCCCCKKKKSSSSSS!!!!! They will hold YOUR money for days on end. Always with some flippant "rule" or "policy." If you want your accounts randomly frozen, if you like having someone look over your shoulder on every transaction, if you enjoy having to explain to another adult where your money comes from them by golly this is the bank for you. If not, if you like having your money where you put it, do yourself a favor and put it in the mattress. I say this because THIS BANK SUUUUUUCCCCKKKSSSSS!!!!

Started a new job last month that only offers paper checks no direct deposit. They use Truist for the checks. Have gone to this Truist and cashed my check for the last 2 Mondays with no issue. Been doing this since it’s a smaller fee than with my bank for some reason (Regions). My check has my married last name on it but my license still has my maiden name. Once again this wasn’t an issue the past month coming to this branch. Came today and the woman was very upset that the names didn’t match. I told her it was my married name I haven’t been able to go get a new license yet due to work scheduling. She got very short and said I must give her my marriage license to see so I can cash my check and disappeared from the screen. Would not answer me and I had to hit call button for her to come back on. She answered with a “yes?” With a mad look on her face. I told her I’ve been to this location 3 times now and cashed my check with no issue. She said no one would have this is our policy you must have your marriage license. And disappeared from screen while I was still talking. I called her back again and was greeted with another “yes?” In an angry tone. I asked if my vol state id that I just got with my new last name would suffice. She said “it’s not a marriage license” and disappeared from the screen again. Left frustrated and went right to Regions for a larger fee. I work in restaurant management.. My shifts are 12+ hours and extremely stressful and I still find the time to kindly explain any hiccups or issues to my customers. Do better Truist
