Posting for a friend about to quit truist, they've had issues with security breaches for years, all tellers at each location are the slowest I've ever seen in my life, never enough tellers and always someone not doing anything to help, my friend is fed up with fraudulent charges that did not actually get investigated at all, ppl aren't going to pay for things they did not do.

Gail Mathews was prompt, responsive, and professional as can be. Followed up and got results with my account even while short staffed. Thank you!

Up until recently I've enjoyed banking with Truist, but as they say, one bad apple spoils the whole barrel. I went in to close an old credit account, the second one I've had, but the new teller was unable to pull up my information without the assistance of a senior clerk. When she finally did get my account pulled up, she not only failed to close my account (which i had done also a month before, i had two secured cards), she decided to adopt a disgusting attitude because of her incompetence. I was told it would take over a month to get my deposit back, when though it only took 7 days with the other identical account. She was obviously new and not trained on the software, or public relations for that matter. "Maybe you should close all of your accounts" she says to me, after i ask repeatedly for her to look again at my account to see what the misunderstanding could be. So instead of continuing to argue with what appeared to be just another "village idiot", I'll go back tomorrow and deal with someone else. And i will be sending an email to everyone i can locate at Truist corporate. I've been part of this bank in this town for 30 years and this is the first time I've ever had a problem. I will update this review with the name of the teller ASAP, i didn't have time to grab it before i left. And if you're reading this, i sincerely hope you enjoyed putting on your little show and embarrassing yourself. ------- TLDR: incompetent teller raises her voice with an attitude because she couldn't properly do her job, tells me to close all my accounts.

Having to wait for extended periods of time for someone to take my call is extremely frustrating. We're getting tired of this.

They use 2 different banking systems the one you pull up online is not the same system this bank uses behind the counters. It's designed to get 36.00 overdraft charges so I highly recommend that EVERYONE gets away from SunTrust for using illegal means to collect insufficient or overdraft fees. We also caught them moving transactions around and not sticking to the real time system and by doing so they can also get you for overdraft fees. Anyone wanting to see proof just email me and I will meet you or email you the evidence!
