Probably the worst places to open a bank account. Tried online after going inside was told to do it there when walking in at 1120am on a Saturday. I guess it takes more than 40 minutes. So proceed to try online. Doesn’t work. Sit on the phone for 45 mins to be told to go inside the bank okay. Show up 35 minutes left of the day. Be told it will be a few minutes. The banker John disappears into an office. We left. We will find another bank that doesn’t take a week to open an account.

My husband and I went in this location today with a check made out to our business name OR my husbands name and we walked up to teller Venus and presented her the check to cash for us. She took a few moments and then looked at us and said “ I can’t cash this check it’s been altered.” We responded with, no ma’am it hasn’t you are welcome to call the owner who wrote it. I understand banks need to be cautious, and I would have completely understood had she asked questions or called to verify. But, to simply outright accuse someone of something, especially an inaccurate assumption is very unprofessional. Then when I asked her if she felt the need to apologize she said I am talking to him (my husband) it’s his check! I simply said I have to walk out and left the bank. (To refrain from giving her a piece of my mind). HATE THIS BANK! They lose money, they take forever, the customer service is horrible, and now their tellers accuse customers of crimes without reason. VENUS… do better.
