I filed an official BBB complaint for this bank. Not allowing consumers to turn off balance features they cannot control & then hallucinating positive balances is wrong. I will ensure a formal investigation into your UDAAP violations is conducted.

They are very nice and helpful here. The only drawback is it's in an office tower with a parking garage. There isn't a drive through.
But it is a spectacular bank.

Stay far away from this bank, they have horrible customer service! I've had a personal checking, business checking, and many credit card accounts for almost a decade with BB&T. Over the past several years the customer experience has definitely declined along with a major increase in fees and other unprofessional moves on the bank's part. Most recently unknown to me, they decided to open a second line of credit to cover overdraft fees on one of my business accounts. They didn't notify me about this second line of credit and of course they piled on late payment charges and interest on this line. It had several hundred dollar's worth of charges before I discovered it months later. Most recently when closing out my accounts they denied having received a credit of $80 on a refund transaction I had previously made. I have a POS receipt with a authorization number showing that the money was credited to my account yet they insist that they have no record of the transaction. I find it very hard to believe that there was no record for this transaction as I was told by the Downtown Knoxville branch. BB&T are unethical at best and I would highly advised avoiding them at all costs!
