I assumed this would be taken care of quickly as it was for my mortgage with a different back. As I was completing the transaction, a pop-up happened THEN and I saw "Available January 3rd." This didn't happen. FBT told me it would now be the 7th. That was 11 days after I sent the request. Had it gone through, it left me with $8. FBT told me I could cancel the bill pay for $22. By the time I thought I had this straightened out, my mortgage company had started foreclosure proceedings and would not accept any payments. I blame FBT for this because of misrepresentations made to me with an ultimate result of losing my house and being homeless. I can't rent an apartment for less than what I would pay for my mortgage

I inquired as to why they were so inclined about not letting me open an account with them and they simply stated that I lived too far for them to service me (1 hour away). I found this very preposterous and ridiculous, I have never heard of a bank denying a customer just because they were a bit farther away from the bank. Did not have a good experience and bank tellers were not very pleasant either. I took my business and money elsewhere.
