- AHAmelia HaleDec 4, 20243.0I give 3 stars to this branch location only for two reasons - Renasant as a whole is a very good bank and one of the employees (Jordan) is very friendly and helpful. However, I would recommend driving 20 minutes up the road to the Johnson City location. Everyone in Johnson City is very helpful, solution oriented and overall good at their job and balancing customer needs/account history. I can not say the same for the Jonesborough location. They will simply say "it's in the handbook" and dismiss you, which is quite frustrating. I love this local bank as a whole, I will just do all my banking business at the Johnson City branch from now on.

After a horrible experience with Eastman Credit union, I was desperate to find a bank that was close to me and that knew what they were doing without having ridiculous policies. Eastman had charged me hundreds in overdraft fees and I was specifically set up not to overdraft, also after I made purchases, they would pend my money and the pending charge would dissapear leaving me thinking I had more money then what I actually did which resulted in Overdraft fees, I have not had any problems like that with renasant! Once my account was opened they sent me a gift in the mail and each time I visit the branch I am always greeted by warm and helpful staff! The charges usually come out of pending in a day so I always know my correct balance, and quick direct deposit! Go with this place, you won't be dissapointed!
