Truist is the worst bank, with a stupid name. I've banked with them since that Hamilton Bank days and they get worse and worse. Their ATMs are always disgusting, they don't do what they say they going to do, and they are just miserable. They charge for everything - I need to cancel some lost checks, that's $35 per check, I need to transfer money to an external account, that's $30; and all them tellers have to do is type a few things into the computer to do those things, they horrible. Only reason I stick with them is because they have the most convenient ATMS, but they are always nasty and often don't have cash.

Very shady dealings at this bank. Lots of mis-communication or no conversation at all.
Merger will only make it worse.

Holding a deposit that had cleared my bank the same day I opened new account for 10 days. Was Never informed by CSR that was standard practice for this Shady bank.
Underhanded and Very Poor Business Practices and from the looks of other reviewers that's normal for this bank.

This is getting very rediculous. Clear my deposit already. Dang. I can not wait to be able to open an account some where else. Suntrust bank is the worst bank i have EVER banked at. Direct deposits are t here for a reason, to be able to get your money quicker. It takes them two to three days to clear a deposit when other banks takes one day to clear. They have also charged me a fee for cashing a check that some one wrote me that has a banking account there. I made a mistake by choosing this bank so please don't make the same mistake that i did.
