    I recently, unfortunately, got scammed with a fraud check and they were so kind and understanding about what had happened. Ms. Amanda was so kind and made sure to help me through it and even told me if I ever get questionable checks that I can ask them about it before I deposit it. They were so helpful during one of the most stressful days I went through. I appreciate the help they gave me so much!

    Other 2 First Banks (Channing and University) phones are not working for some reason so I decided to call this one as a last resort and I was hung up on. I called back and spoke to another lady who could not help me transfer money to my husband's account which the other 2 banks have no issue doing that for me. This is not the first time having a bad experience with this bank. 👎

    I had better service from Wells Fargo that has to say something. I called the local branch up because apparently I screwed up which account I used. I get there's gonna be nsf charges etc till I pay the overdrawn amount so wanting to not pay 5 bux a day plus the nsf charges I called wanting to see if I can have my account Frozen or something (mind you every bank I've ever used offered to freeze my account to stop charges) but the clerk I spoke with wasn't offering up any solutions or assistance and seemed bothered I even called. Also any other bank would notify the account holder by email, call, and mail letter (If there's a email address on file which there is) these guys only sent mail out so no matter what your stuck with 10 dollars in charges till you get your mail. So after having spoken with the clerk I tried the branch manager whom also wouldn't offer any sort of solutions to their customers problem and frankly wasn't listening to anything I tried to explain. This lead me to speak to the bank president. The president was nice enough but still had the audacity to explain to me how money works as if I'm a child. She then told me responsible people check their accounts often. I'm not nor did I deny that's true, I check my accounts regularly this is one of my least used ones and also the HARDEST to access. This lead to in my opinion the most SERIOUS issue with this bank. For starters there's no clear way to set up instant electronic notifications for account status and no one was able to explain how till they all got together and tried to figure it out. Secondly, I was told many times "well you can just use the app" but there's no link on their website for the legitimate app store app. This is a serious security issue as no end user has any way of knowing 100% the app they are clicking on in the app store is the actual app. I'm a software developer and IT professional and I read daily how there are fake and fraudulent apps being found in both the Google play store and the apple app store so no I'm not going to search through all the bank apps that come up when you search "first bank" SERIOUSLY YOU WANT ME TO PUT MY BANK LOGIN INFO INTO SOME RANDOM APP???!!!!! I explained to the president how this can be a huge way for hackers to steal from their customers and she didn't seem concerned "we've been doin this for years with no issue" I just closed 2 bank account when I moved neither of them opperated this way EVER. Lastly I opened my account and showed my ID and after that I have yet to be ID'd once! I've even gone in with my girlfriend and moved money from our accounts and from our BUSINESS account into other people's account (they're employes) and neither of us was asked for identification!
