- HGHaley Green3 days ago1.0This place is so unprofessional and disrespectful. I spent 2 hours setting up a business account which is ridiculous to begin with, then over 2 weeks later was told we needed to come back in and sign another paper that was missed. We did. Then I was called and told again we needed to come in again. We did. Then a 3rd time I was called and told to come back in because YET ANOTHER paper needed to be signed because the guy that opened the account wasn’t with them anymore and messed the category up and if I didn’t come back in and sign it the account would close in 10 days. At that point I was completely fine with the account being closed because they clearly have zero respect for my time and weren’t competent enough to fix the issue. So I let it close on purpose and decided to use another highly recommended bank in town. I had a personal account with first horizon way before I opened the business account and they also WITHOUT notice decided to cancel my debit card on my personal account because I “didn’t come in and sign the additional paperwork requested they decided to cut all ties”. What is this? A middle school relationship? I have never heard of such fit throwing nonsense in my life. The immaturity is pathetic. Because I didn’t keep the business account open you decide to cancel my personal debit card on a completely different account? Lol So I went by a different branch and closed my accounts today. Avoid the time and trouble and AVOID THIS BANK.

I'm not a fan of large banks--old school I guess, as I like to speak and ask questions to an actual person. Thor kept us informed along our journey without having to be prompted to communicate. He acted as both a liaison with the underwriters and a consultant, giving us needed advice and frankly, calming me down (I can get feisty at times). Thanks to First Horizon and to Thor for a really good experience.

Hi my name is Elena and I am a caregiver who was maliciously accused of stealing from the veteran that I care for because she experienced fraud on several occasions, now. One of her fraud episodes was caused by the actions or lack of from a personal banker at this bank. I was maliciously accused of the fraudulent activity and my vet was accused of not being capable to manage her affairs /decision making. He also went as far as to call my friend/veteran and ask her for my place of employment. He was going to try to get me fired without proof. IF I were guilty I would not have taken the time out of my day to make phone calls to stop some of the charges made on my friend’s stagnant acct. I recouped funds on my own for my friend and saved some trouble for the bank. SHAME on Y’all! I am a God fearing, Christian Brian who deserves action to be taken and an apology.
