There are a lot of “First Banks” around this area, so clearly it’s not resolved who was actually first. But to me, they are 1st. We came to them through a recommendation of a friend. We were living in a different state and wanted to establish a bank here to help with our move and setting in. These folks never cease to amaze me at how they continue to treat me as a person, not a balance or account number. I was with a previous bank for 18 years and I remember the day I walked in to close my account. They asked why and I was honest. They grew and I became a number. So far, the folks at this and the Crossville offices have never let me down.

Very rude individuals on the phone. Very short, interrupted me, judged me, and spoke loudly. I live 2 hours away and I really am glad that the banks around me do not have the employees that this bank does. The way they treated me was absolutely pathetic. I have seen police officers treat criminals better. I talked to 2 different people and both had the same exact mindset. Can I have my card back? NO, not at all. It is your fault for leaving it here. I have never heard of such a thing. It is common theft. A bank that is stealing. Absolute Insanity. They violated my right to my own property. I will not write the names of the 2 ladies, but both of them are heartless when it comes to their jobs.

I've known the Manager of this bank for 15 years, and of all the people in the banking industry I have ever dealt with in my life, I can truly say that Nathan Lorenzen is the most caring and best to work with person I've ever met. Nathan has a can-do attitude, is very patient with his customers, and is just exceptionally well skilled and knowledgeable with all-things banking. Nathan will go out of his way every time to get things done for you, and if you live in Rhea County you should be banking here! I could not recommend a bank any higher than FirstBank in Dayton, Tennessee.
