  I was greeted with a cherry welcome and asked how everyone could help me. Ms Mandy P helped me with my questions and was so gracious to my grandsons as well. Always 5 Stars at FirstBank!! Always!!

  My dad went missing on April 1st this year. I have a POD at this First Bank Location off Elmore Rd. In Crossville, TN. I also have a durable Power of Attorney over my dad's estate that this bank refuses to honor! This bank will not allow me to move my dad's money (leaving at this bank) into a higher interest money market plan that will allow the money parked there to grow at 3.6%. Why would they do this? Because the money is currently earning 0.7%. This bank has refused to allow me talk to their legal department. At this point I have been locked out of all aspects of handling my dad's affairs and possibly earning him more on his investment. The difference is $700 per year at .7% versus $3600 at 3.6%. They have forced me to retain an attorney to ensure my dad's best interest are met. If you want a bank that will high jack your money in an effort to make a dollar, this is your bank! If you don't want to have this banking institution seize your funds and not send you a statement for 3 months, I'd highly suggest you avoid this banking institution at all cost! As for the late and lame reply from First Bank below in an attempt to talk this away... I'll say to you what was said by your branch manager (Mandy Petrey). You'll need an attorney. Talk to them... I've got mine. You can talk to him! So as of August 8, 2025, with the help and expense of retaining a lawyer and getting my dad's Doctor to write a letter we have managed to get the monies out of this banks money grabbing hands. My dad vanished on April 1st? So, it took my family five months to get this bank to recognize my 100% legal and binding power of attorney. I immediately closed the account and moved the funds to another financial institution, IN MY FATHERS NAME, and it's now earning 4% versus the 0.7% FirstBank attempted to ransom us with. Folks you be you... but I'd think twice before trusting this bank with your money.

  First Bank recently upgraded their on-line and mobile app. However they failed to advise customers that no payment history would be converted from their previous system. While they converted payee names, you cannot view what bills were previously paid. I find this totally short-sighted and unacceptable to what had previously been a very favorable level of service.

  I wanted to take a second and recognize somebody who has consistently gone above and beyond the level of customer service that you normally find in today’s society. I am talking about Miss Anita Jones. From day one, she has always gone above and beyond and exceeded my expectations of anything that I ever needed when it comes to banking. Although I know she has a very full plate, anytime I need something, she always makes me feel like I am the only person that she has to help in that moment of time. Consistent follow up, very informational, truthful. She delivers all of that and more all while smiling through her voice and in person. Thank you so much Anita for all you do. you are one of the reasons that I will always stay with First Bank. Thank you. JJW.
