- TGT GJul 15, 20251.0Finally got the monies this bank held hostage. Even though I had power of Attorney over my deceased father's estate. This bank is horribly corrupt and reprehensible. They had to make sure to freeze my father's money until the bitter end, knowing it was in checking and earning 0.07%. They refused to invest the funds where it could have earned 4%... proving they are a den of thieves. In the end the money is now invested and this bank lost any opportunity at further business. If you like having your monies held hostage for months and being bounced around like a ping pong ball in a shower stall this is a perfect bank for you. As for me, I will share my experience concerning this unscrupulous bank to all I know or meet. The Crossville, TN firstbank branch is the worst.
