I went off the great energy of the office staff when I opened my account because I had came in to cash a check from a local realty company in town. I signed a form opting in for overdraft coverage or protection, which I got told would be added by the back office. Well, I also explained that the way my pay date runs, a bill might try to come out before I deposit my check, and it was imperative to have the overdraft feature, they said it was only up to $300 but they do have it. My insurance almost was cancelled because when it went to draft the money, the financial institution declined it multiple times, which is scary. I had to go grab a loan to cover it next day and paid it off with my following pay check. I called the number listed for customer service this morning to ask if I deposit my check how long they hold it or when it would clear, the agent couldn't tell me that because she said they don't deal with checks, she then told me that I would have to call the branch back because she can't handle the overdraft feature, I just laughed because customer service is such an important part of having a successful company. I'm going to close my account this morning, it's too many red flags for me. You want me to trust you with my livelihood but have no real answers, please know customer service is not knowledgeable when you can't reach the branch. I have to move to a better bank with real customer service, and does the things they say without so much miscommunication and stipulations.

With this bank, you only matter if you have $1 million in your account. There is no communication, very unorganized, no dedicated training platform for the staff, no community involvement whatsoever in the Clarksville area (even when staff tries to suggest things to do in the area), managers would prefer to sit in their office all day nitpicking about what time someone takes their lunch break or when they clock in at 8:03 (even though the branch doesn’t open till 8:30). Not to mention that the branch managers won’t even come out of their office to greet the customers or get to know them by their name. What’s even worse is when you see people who had banked here previously for 30 years that have now pulled all their funds & taken their home loans, etc. literally 5 minutes down the road to an ACTUAL COMMUNITY BANK.

This bank does not treat customers like people, you will get treated like another account number. Customer service people have such bad attitudes and they really don't care if they help you or not. Snippy, unhelpful people in customer service are an anchor to the entire organization.
