    You really should do something about the man in wheelchair by the ATM who harasses me every time I try to make a deposit there.

    Truist sent a credit card to me after someone opened an account in my name. The financial institution never verified my credit or attempted to authenticate my identity via email or the phone number provided. They just sent a credit card to my home. In response the investigator offered no credit monitoring, refund or compensation despite their lax security procedures and inability to safeguard against such activities. They gave me the numbers of the credit bureaus to check my own credit. Thanks for nothing Truist!

    Account was closed in March 2023, but keep receiving notices that my account was charged a monthly maintenance fee, causing a negative balance. SO many better banks to go with, Truist is the last on my list, next to a not-fire-proof safe in a volcano.

    This is not a review for this banking location but a review of SunTrust phone in customer service. Called SunTrust customer service line, after a full 10 minute wait a man answered who could not speak English. He sounded like he was from India or Pakistan with marbles in his mouth. It was terrible, I had him repeat everything guessing at what he was trying to tell me as I repeated it back to him. I had received a $ 45 fee in the mail for a lock box which I have had for 12 years and is free with my account. He put me on hold repeatedly, this went on for 15 minutes or so when he told me that he could not help and I would have to personally go into a Suntrust Branch. Why in the world does this bank even bother with a phone line if this is how they service it?
