I live with an invisible disability. When I contacted the TD call line, the agent advised me to visit a TD Branch and meet with a financial advisor. I received an email confirming the appointment. However, when I arrived at this branch, staff told me they had no record of it—even after I showed them the official confirmation email from TD.
At that point, I disclosed my invisible disability and explained that I required assistance. Despite this, I was told they could not help me due to staffing shortages. Instead, they offered me a room where I could sit alone to complete the task, but made it clear they would not provide the support I had requested. They even remarked that the task was “easy,” dismissing the fact that I had already explained I could not do it without help.
This experience left me embarrassed and humiliated. By law, when a customer discloses a disability, businesses are required to provide appropriate accommodation. TD staff failed to recognize or act on this obligation. Their response demonstrated a lack of understanding and sensitivity toward invisible disabilities, and highlighted a serious gap in disability awareness and training.
Every business that serves the public should ensure its employees are properly educated on how to support customers with disabilities. It is unacceptable that both customer service agents and a branch manager at such a prominent bank lacked this knowledge. I will be filing a formal complaint, not only on my own behalf but because I know I am not the only customer whose disability is overlooked. Invisible disabilities are real, and they must be respected.

Very bad experience of service from an indian banker at 8 street branch. He made me wait for more than 11 days without responding when I provided all required docs on the first day of meeting. I gonna close my account asap.

I was in this branch with my wife to get added to her account so we could have a joint account and all of a sudden I have a charge against my CREDIT SCORE from TDCT all for getting my name added not opening a new account just adding my name, this is robbery and thievery, going after my credit score for nothing! I will be calling the Credit Bureau and maybe the Better Business Bureau because this is unacceptable!

On Oct 2nd, 2025, I visited the TD branch on 8th Street to address an issue with my online banking. An unauthorized "Line of Credits" account appeared on my EasyWeb, and I was charged interest after accidentally using it to pay a bill. During the transaction, this "Line of Credits" was listed as the first option in the drop-down menu, leading to the error. Although I immediately repaid the borrowed amount, I was charged interest for this mistake. I believe the bank is responsible for this charge as I never applied for the account and its prominent placement in the menu led to the error. My experience with the staff at the branch was extremely disappointing. The teller was unable to help and passed me to another employee who was dismissive and blamed me for the mistake. A supervisor was also brought in but stated they could not resolve the issue. The poor service continued with my scheduled appointment with a financial advisor on the same day. The advisor was 12 minutes late, and our conversation was also unhelpful. This entire experience, from the online banking error to the lack of assistance from staff, has been very frustrating and has made me seriously consider moving my business to another bank.

Have never waited in a line at a bank for so long, in my entire life. At least three people standing behind the counter just chatting, even though there’s a long line. Two tellers actually doing their job. So glad I drove across town for this.
