  I really wished I could give this company a negative star. They are horrible and a bunch of criminals. Citibank froze my account on 10/31/25. Because my phone is not in my name. I called and really attempted to cooperate to get this resolved. I was told I had to wait for a letter in the mail. Day 18 no letter and Citibank refuses to help me. I lost my water and struggled to feed my family. They are able to send me emails telling me they will complete a transfer out of my Chime and send me my statement but refuse to send me anything to unfreeze my account. I reached out to the Citi Executive Response team for help and I was told since I reached out to Better Business Bureau and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency they could add 15 business days for every contact. So I can expect to hear nothing till 11/26/25. Almost a month to gain access to my account. Please beware when you trust your money to this bank. I think the celebrities that sponsor this bank need to be aware that they are being paid with money the company stole from consumers.

  Worst experience ever! Someone steals my debit card to pay off there account through Citit! And this bank allows it to happen! How ridiculous! This is fraud and they should be arrested! The customer and the bank should never allow this to happen!

  Chase Bank had to lock my accounts since on September 15 my identity was stolen. The check I sent to pay my bill (in full), was returned to Citi Bank. I was then charged a $30.00 fee for a returned check by Citi Card. I called and explained what happened, but they refused to refund my $30.00 late fee. I’ve been a great Citi Card customer for many, many years. However, under these circumstances, I will shred my card and NEVER deal with any part of Citi Bank!!!

  ATTENTION ATTENTION DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK!! THEY ARE VERY BAD BANK!! I HAD OPENED UP AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM THEY ARE VERY BAD IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL. THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT JUST BECAUSE I TRIED TO TRANSFER FUNDS INTO MY OTHER BANK ACCOUNT AN IMMEDIATEKY THOUGT IT WAS SUSPICIOUS. SO NOW WITH THE FUNDS I HAD IN THERE THEY WONT GIVE ME A FINAL CHECK UNTIL 30-60 DAYS AFTER IS CLOSED WHEN LITERALLY THEY CAN JUST CUT ME A CHECK SIMPLE. THIS BANK NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN THIS BANK AND CUSTOMER SERVICES IS POOR! ALL THEY DO IS REPEAT AND MIND YOU DONT LET YOU TALK THEY TALK OVER YOU WHEN YOUR TRYING TO TALK WITH THEM!! IF I WOULD ID GIVE THEM NO STAR AT ALL THEY DONT DESERVE NONE!!! THEYBWONT EVEN GIVE EXACT DATE OR WHEN THEY WILL SEND OUT THE CHECK!

  This location does not answer their phone and it is impossible to schedule an appointment with them online. Corporate customer support supposedly has no additional way to contact them. I need to go to a branch and this is the closest one to me - 3.5 hours away. Am I just supposed to hope that the correct person is available that day to assist me? Absolutely ridiculous.
