- NGNicole GuttermuthJan 21, 20255.0I was first acquainted with Ben Lewis in 2019 (if memory serves me) because the non-profit organization where I worked offered employees the opportunity to open simple IRS. I'm NOT a finance person. I'm NOT a numbers person. Not only is Ben Lewis a finance and numbers person, but he is also, most importantly, a genuinely kind and decent human being. Since I started my simple IRA with Mr. Lewis, he also took on my Mom's retirement accounts that her previous financial advisor neglected. When my mom and I had to refinance our house, Ben took the time to read over documents with me because I'd never refinanced a home before, and I was terrified I'd be taken advantage of by a business who knew that I had no idea what I was doing. I lost my Mom in September 2023. While Mr. Lewis, or anyone else for that matter, could alleviate the overwhelming grief I've felt, he and his team made the process of making account transitions easier because I feel confident in my ability to trust him. Anytime I've had a question related to anything financial, I've never hesitated to make a phone call or send an email to Ben Lewis. He always replies or calls back the same day, and he has never once made me feel like an idiot (I do this well enough for myself) because I "don't get" numbers. Ben Lewis, and the team in his office - both past and present - are financially savvy. I trust that my financial future is in EXCELLENT hands. However, of paramount importance to me when working with anyone is that I've never been treated like a number or an annoyance. Ben Lewis and his team are genuinely kind, compassionate, and caring human beings whom I count as a blessing in my life.
