If you’re on vacation and need a TD bank do yourself a favor and go to any other location than this one. Tellers here are absolutely rude, and the bank manger is horrible. She doesn’t seem to care about the customers at her branch. I went in for some help with my underaged daughter’s account. The woman who set it up never explained anything to me about it and we had stopped receiving the statements. I was not able to see the account through Moblie app as well. Upon entering the bank it was empty, which now I can see why. The male teller behind the counter was absolutely rude, and upon leaving I asked to speak to the manger. Who when approach was extremely defensive and rude from the beginning. After receiving terrible service I said I was going to close the account with the bank and the manager had the audacity to say okay that’s fine. It’s crazy to think that the branch manager is okay with someone closing 20+ years old accounts, over rude service and no help.

I went to the TD location in Murrells Inlet to make a withdrawal. They were low on cash, so the gentleman explained that he could only provide me with a portion of my request. He was very pleasant and professional. I then went to the Surfside location at 300 US17 Bus to complete the remainder of my transaction. Upon my arrival, I noticed the bank was empty, not one customer! I approached the counter and quickly noticed it was the SAME bad attitude teller I experienced once before. (😮‍💨) I stood at the counter, and she didn't part her lips to acknowledge me. Not an I will be with you in a moment, just a second, please,.....absolutely nothing! After being ignored, I proceeded by stating I would like to make a withdrawal. She still didn't say anything. So I placed my card in the card reader twice and advised her that it wasn't registering. Then she said she was doing something and needed to finish it before she could wait on me. After a brief pause and PRETENDING she was typing on the keyboard, she decided to address me. She laid the bills on the counter. Then laid my receipt on the counter. It seems that it was too much effort to place either in my hand. It wasn't like she had to touch my skin, which was more sanitary than the bills she handled with her bare hands. 🤨 After completing the transaction, she asked me: "WHAT ARE THE FUNDS FOR?" I was shocked to say the least!!!! 😳😯😳 I advised her that I was withdrawing "MY money," to intrept that it was none of her business. She had the audacity to LIE and state that it was the banks policy to verify what customer's withdrew money for ($4K). Naturally, I asked for her name, so I can file a formal complaint. Don't want to do it at her local brach level, bc it appears it will be swept under the rug. Based on the number of other complaints I've just read this is not the first time poor or disgraceful customer service has been demonstrated AND TOLERATED. The tellers name was Kathy. Well, that's what she said. That too could be just as big of a LIE as the lie she told about TD Bank, having a policy enforcing their tellers confirm " the PURPOSE of a customer's withdrawal of THEIR OWN money." She was a dingy blonde, about 5'4 , looks like she once drank alot, and still has a funky attitude lingering. A person like that is dangerous & untrustworthy !!! Therfore, she should NOT be privy to anyone's confidential banking information.

The woman that I made the account with at this location was super pleasant. Cannot remember her name. But that was months ago, and I just called to ask a question about my account and the woman that I spoke to on the phone was rude. Interrupted me in my sentences and did not listen to what I was saying. I basically got no help, and will go through with making sure my account is closed.
