Our experience with Truist Bank was absolutely horrible. The ATM took our money and instead of helping us, the staff acted like it was our fault. They were completely unhelpful, unapologetic, and painfully slow to respond, if you can even call what they did “responding.” Every person we spoke to had a terrible attitude and made it clear they didn’t care about fixing the problem or even showing basic empathy. It’s unbelievable that a bank can handle people’s money with such carelessness and indifference. We were left frustrated, helpless, and without any real resolution. I strongly urge everyone to stay far away from Truist Bank. Their ATMs are consistently unreliable, their customer service is useless, and their staff treat customers like inconveniences. Don’t risk losing your money or your peace of mind here.

I just went into this location this morning and I hadn't been there in awhile. Great service! Indigo is so lovely and she answered all of my questions and helped me with the all of my banking business. She was super! I also had a deposit to make while I was there and the gentleman that helped me, again, was really nice. So happy to see the great service we received, when we first opened accounts at this branch a little over 15 years ago, is still terrific!

Is there such a thing as a good bank anymore, a good McDonald’s or a good Walmart? I’m 34 years old and I’m realizing the answer to all of those questions is no! What would you think are the odds of one branch having 2 atms that both don’t work at the same time at 11am on a Saturday, probably not that high right well maybe it’s time I play the lottery for the first time seeing as that was my odds today. Does this review even matter though as you see the rating for this particular branch is 2.2 stars, rather low but so well deserved. I’m sure a representative might get on here and wish to discuss these issues in more detail then upon hearing the tragic mess their particular branch is become merely brush me off like a piece of dried lint stuck to their shirt. I remember when BB&T was rather respectable as a bank until it ultimately forged an alliance with a sub prime lending bank known as sun trust, I’m just disappointed not even mad but why does the world have to be this way…..I just don’t know anymore.

August 28. The lady in the 3 seat from the left a side from Tonya didn’t want me to cash a check, she acted like she called and then said they need to update the number and give me her back. Bad service. Then the account holder got mad when I mentioned what happened. So I came inside again and I talked with another person he call her with no problem. At that moment I realized that she was about to finish her shift and didn’t wanted to waste her time.

Would never recommend this branch nor Truist to anyone. Not long ago I had an account with BB&T and never had an issue with customer service. Once it became Truist and I needed something. They told lies about my account, wouldn’t return my phone calls as of this afternoon. I don’t say this much but it has literally gotten awful, worst customer service that I have had in Simpsonville in a very long time. I deposited my paycheck from a local SCHOOL DISTRICT and they put a hold on it. Meanwhile I have been a teacher for several years. I don’t really get a real answer on how they could do that when it’s a paycheck and I’m a teacher with a local district. So the check everyone receives on the 8th of August well, it still is not available to me. After asking their banker when it would be available, they said this morning. Well, they released 200 of It and are holding hostage the rest of my payckeck. This started with Saturday morning and it’s now Tuesday after banking hours and they still have not released. Oh, and another trap is that they no longer allow you to have 100 dollars back from your deposit.
