    Brittany is the true definition of what customer service is not! She is rude and has a very bad attitude. First Citizens should know about her attitude and take accountability of why she is allowed to speak to customers the way she does. She is very unprofessional. This branch is located in the small town of Prosperity, SC. The town is small and I was thinking that I would receive the small town friendly customer service. Maybe I didn't look like Brittany's normal customers she sees daily in Prosperity, SC. Nevertheless her service is unacceptable. Regardless of my race or the amount of money I have in my accounts, the level of service should be the same regardless.

    I have been banking with this branch for over ten years, trusting them to take care of me since I deposit over 10k p/mo. I lost my job making 125k annually and hav fallen on hard times taking care of my family and forced to take a position making 70k less. I have maxed out my savings and credit cards and have been having to utilize the overdraft protection on my account. I pay all of what is due on a timely basis, and now they have just decided to cut me off. This company has made a lot of money off of me and my fees, and I have been faithful to them to the extent of referring friends and family to them. Overlooking the fact that they asked me if there was anything going on in my relationship with my wife that they should know about. This was a total overstepping by the staff of First Citizens. Now to top it all off, Marsha, the branch manager has asked us to take our money saying “maybe it’s best if you close your accounts with us and go somewhere else “. This is terrible customer service and downright insulting. I will take my circle of influence and take Marsha’s advice and give my 10k + to another bank who appreciates and cares for their customers, unlike First Citizens Bank and Trust in Prosperity, Ballentine, and Spartanburg, SC branches.
