- MMMeikaJul 28, 20251.0I went to update my number this bank. I couldn't get into the account for a week after the fact. The app stated that the two-step verification was sending the codes to my number, but for some reason, i didn't receive anything. I actually called my phone provider, thinking my phone had an issue, which they said it was fine. Then I went to the bank and sat down with the lady and explained my situation. Now, her response was why didnt i call the 1800 number?" My response was that these types issues are better off being dealt with at the bank. She got me the code from her end of the computer, and upon closely looking at my account, she had put my number in wrong. The issue was resolved, but for real, when someone got to ask me to call the 1800 number, that told me she didn't want to deal with the situation. This banks current policy is that when you update a number, you have to go in person. Complex issues require in person visits, as the 1800 number of customer service has their limits. I was disappointed with this bank. Taking my services to another branch. It's worth the extra gas cause I don't have time to deal with people who don't do their job correctly!
