    Two people ahead of me. 4 people behind the teller line. 20 minutes later - I closed my account. They have no idea on how to run a branch. Really pitiful

    Very sad really. A culture of ignorance. Truist paid me $400 to open a checking account. Then, while another account was waiting to be funded, they charge me a fee and would not reverse it. Today, they wouldn’t let me deposit an IRS check because it was made out to my wife and I and despite her endorsement, would not let me deposit it. The check amount? $2,000. Yes, someone who is 67 years old they think will commit a felony. 😆. My account is now closed out. They have no clue about their customers or profitability. Clueless.

    My experience here was very disappointing. I was on vacation, but needed to make a wire transfer. Time was critical. Several days later, the wire transfer still had not happened. After calling the bank, they had no explanation despite having a copy of the transfer and a transaction number to investigate. My local branch in VA reinitiated the transfer, and it finally went through. They told me the second approver at the NMB dropped the ball. This cost me several days of time lost. Avoid this branch if you can.

    There was only 1 employee at the drive thru and 1 inside. That did not prevent the lady in the drive thru from being very polite and efficient. I so appreciate her great attitude.

    They either need another branch in North Myrtle Beach or hire more people. The wait time for the drive-through is ridiculous!
