  Havent ever really had any bad experiences until I went to this Wells Fargo. I make one deposit a week of multiple checks. I was told a few years ago to not worry about filling out a deposit slip anymore at other Wells Fargos I frequented. I used this one a few times doing this and one day they told me they could take a deposit without a filled out slip. I said you have been doing this for like six months and the teller was like idk who would do that. I tried the drive through, same thing. No big deal i left to go up the street to a different wells fargo. I went to the next branch and realized they didnt give me my id back. The next branch took my deposit without the slip filled out, as usual. Luckily they didnt need my id. I told them what happened and they were like idk why they would tell you you had to fill it out. The funny thing is I always filled it out till they told me dont worry about it like two years ago. So by the time I drove back down there to the other one they were closed. Just called and they dont have my id. They kept my id and my envelope I had the deposits in. I know they didnt give me my id back cause i was irritated they didnt place my items back in my envelope and when I thought about it i was like wait they didnt give me my id back when i was at the drive through. Its not really the deposit slip issue this post is about. Its just the way they talke to me was rude, the envelope issue was rude, the id was rude, and loosing my id.......Ill stay away from this branch.

  The ATMS are 8 out of 10 times not in working order. Unable to get cash or deposit money. This morning a homeless guy was living in the outside enclosed ATM. When I pulled up he was urinating in the bushes beside the ATM. I would avoid this location. Update: I immediately contacted the email as requested. The individual thanked me and this is the last line of the email. " I have escalated this concern to our next level of support, and a specialist will be in contact with you as soon as they have any updates available to provide. " Thank you, Anel I have yet to hear anything from Wells Fargo concerning any updates. Today is April 9th, 2024.

  I deposited a large from my homeowner's insurance company that was made out to myself and to Wells Fargo. The agent that was assisting me insisted that we open an account to deposit the check. The agent was so busy trying to figure out my plans with the check and trying to get me to refiance my home that he forgot to endorse the check with the banks stamp. I went to the teller who also did not endorse the check. A few days later when the 1st portion of the money was available we made a withdraw. The bank mailed me an over draft letter stating that we had nonsuffient funds because the check was being returned. Therefore because of a mistake on Wells Fargo's part they went into every account that had my name associated with an withdrew all the money leaving my accounts in the negative. They took from my personal checking, savings and wiped out my family reunion account. None of which was associated with the new account. They advised me that the check was being returned and that once I get it bring it to the bank and redeposit it with the bank endorsement. I've been waiting for the mail for several days to only find out that the check was never sent. The branch manger Jamie filled out a form to have the check returned directly to the bank within 2 days. When I went to the bank he said I'm sorry the check has been destroyed. It was never sent out. So I was running back and forth checking the mail like a fool looking for a mystery check. No one from corporate, legal, customer service, is willing to help give me my money back. They said i'm sorry but there is nothing we can do. My mortgage is due, I have a family to take care of but my money is tied up because of the banks MISTAKE. DON'T USE THIS BANK. DON'T DEPEND ON THEIR PROFESSIONAL ADVISE...

  I recently spent time in the Brentwood Branch (4400 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405). This location should be closed! The managers and staff are unfriendly and were using foul language towards each other.Manager Tyler was told by an employee to "shut up". The service manager and Tyler were cursing at each other. I do NOT appreciate doing business with a company that condones and worse promotes this kind of behavior.
