I went to the branch as soon as they opened the next morning with my receipt. They knew right away what had happened and where the money was but it took 4 days for them to get the money into our account. The cashier was very kind, but powerless. Not branch specific: Our bank was bought out by Wells Fargo about 10 years ago. We have had this account for almost 30 years. We have bounced one check in that time (26 years ago). They still will not deposit and give access to a full pay check. (I work for a very small office that does not offer direct deposit.)
