- MGMark GJul 23, 20211.0I would not bank here if the money was free. I own and operate 3 businesses in the area and have been shopping banks. I stopped in to cash a check made to me for $9000, ( no problem there) , and asked to speak to someone about opening an account. Lisa, the person I was being directed to , did not seem very interested in helping me. As I started walking towards her office, she quipped rather abruptly " I will be with you shortly, I am finishing something ". To which I responded, no problem, please take your time. She ran through a pamphlet quickly and began to outline all of the scams people have been perpetrating on banks since covid started, and how long their holds were on any items I would be depositing. I suppose this would part of the standard run down, but it became quite redundant to the point where I felt it necessary to explain that I had been banking for a while, and was aware of most banking policies and procedures. All and all I felt like I was inconveniencing her and felt very uncomfortable. My companies are all construction related, and perhaps the fact that I looked a little disheveled and not wearing a suit did not bear well for me. The latter of course is conjecture. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed.
