  This review is for First Citizens Card Services - not this location. If I could give 0 stars I would. Every single time I’ve had a card shipped, whether because of a routine cause like expiration or for theft, they have screwed it up. Several years ago I called them weekly for almost two months for updates on my card only to find out after all that time that they’d never shipped it. The several agents I’d spoken to before must have been lying to me about the status because there was no status to track, and it took me almost two months to get someone who told me. Recently my card was stolen and the new one was expected within 3-7 business days. After 7 business days I called back and was told their policy was 7-10 business days instead, and that the first person I’d spoken to was incorrect. After 10 business days, which is almost three full weeks without my card, I called back again and found out they shipped it to an address that was removed from my account almost two years ago. This is unacceptable. When I asked them why my address hadn’t been updated in their system when I’d updated it in the mobile app the day I moved, I was given a run-around. And I am still without my card. The card services department of this bank is a miserable joke at best. And the worst part is THEY TRIED TO GET ME TO PAY TO EXPEDITE THE SECOND CARD

  If you are an ethnic minority or not part of upper middle class or above, do not go to this bank to do your banking. They are bias and treat people of lower classes or ethnic classes the worst. I reported the staff and branch manager of the greenville branch hoping it was just a local thing and realized that this is actually the company culture because even the district manager treated us the same way. They turn things around and they play the victims and make you feel that you are somehow the one responsible for the bad treatment and second class service. They go out of their way to make sure you learn you lesson for reporting them instead of going out of their way to resolve the internal issues and their unethical if not illegal business practices.
