RUN IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER. Absolutely blatantly rude and horrible customer service- has been for years. They can help you with nothing and just passes you department to department. I have tried for years to be patient and hate to write bad reviews but I have no option but to voice my concerns. D

I called this branch and spoke to the most helpful and nicest teller I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I called this morning and spoke with Braden Smith and he went out of his way to help me find an answer to my question. He could have very easily told me he didn't have the answer or pass me along to someone else, but he didn't. He called and emailed people so that he could give me the answer. This is not my usual branch. It was just the first one on Google when I searched. But I just wanted everyone to know how awesome this teller was! Thank you so much for all of your help! I really hope his supervisor sees this review.

I have never in all of my years of a family business (over 50 now) been more dissatisfied with the customer service at First Citizens Bank. The Augusta Road Branch in particular. For a bank that was founded on the premise of helping small business grow and succeed, it's comical how they are anything but helpful. As a co-owner of 2 of Greenville's small businesses, we don't welcome changing banks and it takes a lot of effort to move our businesses elsewhere. Both are now moved! The branch is a constant change of tellers so the customers never get to know who they are dealing with and in the last few years they can't seem to keep a branch manager. I've never met the latest despite being in the branch often... she's never present. They are quick to pass the problem if you ever need assistance with any merchant service issue or online problem... no help there. And any help with occasional small business funding for large purchases, don't bother asking. Bank elsewhere - a robot is more personable than First Citizens!
