They don't have the protocol that gets in the way of doing business I recently got hired at BMW after having no job for about 3 months. With getting back into the workforce comes reconnecting with your bank (setting up direct deposit, new debit card, debit card activation, new debit card PIN, etc). I had to make several bank trips, one of which included a debit card re-PIN. After my re-PIN, I decided to go to Panera Bread for lunch. Upon ordering I discovered that I had not actually activated my debit card (my fault). I placed a call to Grand South right away. What I expected to hear was a number that I had to call in order to get it activated, which usually requires waiting to speak with a call center representitive. To my pleasant surprise, the women I spoke with did not make me call a call center. She set it up for me in a matter of seconds. That is the advantage of having a local bank over, say, Wells Fargo or Bank of America. All of the convenience! None of the crap! I love dealing with Grand South Bank. They've earned my business!
