We had to delay closing because the process goes through 4 different people and each time, they wanted more documentation. They hold our accounts, know we have excellent credit and still required statements and information that was way beyond necessary. I would not recommend this bank for a mortgage loan!

The branch manager randomly decided to close my joint account with my husband because she didn’t like his “tone” with her. She waited to close it the night before his direct deposit hit the bank. Please take your business elsewhere and do not waste your time with First Citizens.

If you plan on doing business with this one then be prepared to spend your whole hour at the drive thru. It makes me angry to deal with her every time and sometimes I don't even get to eat my lunch. Or I will have about 5 minutes to eat!!
