- CCclaudia castilloDec 17, 20251.0I was floored by the racial profiling that happened today. I was waiting for a banker to help me with a wire transfer, and here come a Spanish speaking representative asking me what I needed help with. I said I was waiting for a banker. She asked in Spanish so I answered in English and Spanish. After going back and forth she goes and talk to the bank manager and the manager said well I don’t know what to do until we get a Spanish speaking representative on the phone. I turned around and said I speak English and have been waiting for a banker. I don’t know who told anyone I needed a Spanish speaking representative since I had just completed all my transactions with the tellers in English. But the racial profiling from the manager is disgraceful and disgusting. I work in customer service and would never just assume that someone only speaks one language until I investigate. Ashley helped cool me down, and I appreciate her for doing it. Because if not I would have closed all my accounts to be honest
