  Absolute trash bank. I should’ve known better the moment I called and got, “TD Bank, Farrow Road. Please hold” — no greeting, no courtesy, just instantly placed on hold. I sat on the phone for 10 minutes. Mind you, I live down the street. This branch is never busy. So I hang up and decide to walk in. The parking lot? Empty. The lobby? Empty. Despite that, I was met with nothing but disgust and disdain the moment I walked through the door by a Black male teller named Carl Barksdale. He then brought out his manager, who was even ruder and more condescending, showing zero interest in helping me open an account. For context, I walked in ready to open an account with nearly $50,000 in personal savings. But clearly, they took one look at my t-shirt and Nike shorts and made assumptions about my financial worth based on appearance alone. And that’s fine — I love when the trash takes itself out. I’ll never do business with TD Bank. If you’re reading reviews to decide where to bank: take heed. Take your money and your business elsewhere.

  I was in this bank on Friday, July 7th. I traveled from another city and went to the bank on Farrow Road in Columbia, SC. Once I got to the bank, I realized my recent deposit had not yet cleared. This was nobody's fault but, there was something that the customer services representative could have offered a solution to help me get my funds. The CSR seemed to intentionally go out of her way NOT to provide any kind of customer service to me. As I left the bank she also made a smart rude remark to me. A former employee told me how that situation could/should have been handled to avoid the frustration this situation caused. It was for them to submit a form. This was the absolute worst experience I have even had at any financial institution!

  I was very disappointed with my experience at TD Bank. I booked an appointment online and waited for 15 minutes, only to be told by the so-called supervisor Wendy that I would have to call customer service and wait another 30 minutes to be transferred to another branch. It was a very unfortunate experience and I will not be going back to TD Bank for any reason.

  Very friendly service I have no idea how that sweet banker remembers me because we normally use a different location but anytime I do come here she sends me lollipops for my kids. Thank you!
