Today, I will say that the assistant manager Amber, was very passive, not very helpful when it came to my case and I honestly felt like she did not care about the case at all and was pushing me to come back a different time. She did not seem to provide me with any helpful information towards my case saying different things, not seeming to know the correct information and even went to as say “I don’t do disputes”, but never sending me to someone who does. I went back in there an hour later and tried to get someone different but got her again with the same, lack of care and help. Very disappointed in the experience I had with her as every other time I went in there it’s always so nice as welcoming. Hopefully I can avoid her next time and get one of the other nice helpful people.

- DDDavidDec 13, 20165.0The best bank I've ever held accounts with. I've done BB&T, BofA, Wells Fargo. Nobody compares to South State Bank (formerly SCBT when our relationship started). I'm beyond satisfied and appeased with their policies, account requirements, lack of fees, online banking experience/security, and specific to this location: the most friendly and helpful staff of any bank I've ever walked into. I will never hold another account with a large national chain bank, and hope to never have to hold an account anywhere else but here. They've gotten a little larger, but so far have held onto putting the account holder first. I hope it continues.
