Customer service can be very unprofessional it’s best to deal with the local branches.

*** EDIT: Leaving the original so the context is there, but I wanted to up the reviews to 4-STARS due to the action of Thomas Harden. I received a few calls ( I wasn't the easiest to get in touch with but he stayed persistent and steadfast). He did not settle for an apology voicemail. He came across sincere and told me how they are using the experience as a teaching moment for the staff and future customer interactions. I admire the ownership and appreciation. Thank you Mr. Harden! ***
(previous review) The worst customer service bar none. I’ve tried now 4 times to open an account for my daughter who will be attending college in Columbia in the fall. I have left four (4) messages for “account specialists” (2 for Jennifer Cook) and cannot get a return call from anyone. There was a “error” trying to set up through the website and apparently no one else can assist except account specialists who never answer their calls nor return calls. Unsure how this bank stays in operation.

I asked would they have to run my credit to determine eligibility for membership. They said no then pulled my credit. Will dispute, frauds!
