- RCRebecca ClarkJul 17, 20231.0If I could give negative ratings - I would. I am in the middle of closing my account. Was great when was BB&T. I opened a small business account with Truist. I had some delays getting up and running so I had never activated the debit card, never taken the checks out of my new account package. I had an issue with my PERSONAL checking and called for help. Got the off-shore customer service. They kept telling me there was no account there associated with my phone number. I asked for their supervisor - they got mad and said "you can understand me, you don't need my supervisor" I said "I understand YOU - but apparently YOU don't understand ME" She hung up on me. I called back and got a different person and the account had been flagged and blocked. I called my branch and they said I had to come in because the account had been flagged and blocked. Got that straight and then my business account was hacked by a female in India. Truist refused to reimburse the money. 50.00 - they are actually willing to lose a long standing customer (and my families accounts too) over 50.00. Horrible customer service - and Horrible OFF_SHORE customer service that I believe is responsible for hacking my account. And I KNOW they blocked my account which caused some of my bills to bounce before i could get it fixed.
