One stars for their refusal to work with me. My ID literally expired on my nirthday, a day before the 4th July and I can't get no grace period to cash a check to buy my license again. Was considering opening account until this... will never use truist again if by my own accord! Period.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I had this bank for over 12 years and then 3 years ago they just changed my account without notification and started charging me a monthly fee. I closed that account. This year 2022, my family and I moved and the bbt is basically across the street. We haven't even been with them a month and I have had multiple issues. The first one is we received a incentive with opening an account in the time frame we did and would receive money in our account, when I called and asked about it, they had no clue😑 and I was suggested to call customer service. When I called customer service, the lady was rude and said she couldn't confirm my information and I would have to go into the branch so they could call and have my ID. I asked can't I just give her my ID information and she said no. I went into the branch and there was nothing they could do, of course. The same week I tried activating my CC and the lady asked for my information, I gave it to her and she asked for it again. When I gave it to her the 2nd time she said, "What??" And I told her off, then she said she couldn't help and would have to forward me to another person, she came back on about a minute later and said bc they are switching everything over to Truist, I would have to call back later. The next day, I went to make a down payment and it kept getting denied, even though I had the money. I was disappointed to find our it was bc there is a $3,000 daily spending limit. Time to switch banks. It's crazy how a bank will take your money, but when you need to take it out, there's a problem due to daily spending and ATM limitations.
