I got a phone call today from an associate at this branch, I wish I remembered her name, but I was busy and the call was unexpected. She was reaching out to let me know that there was a transaction coming out of my account, and there wasn’t sufficient funds to complete the transaction. I made a mistake, and she was proactive and allowed me a chance to correct it. I was able to figure out a solution and I’ll be making a deposit in time for the transaction to clear. She prevented me a whole lot of headache, as well as fees that I can’t really afford to cover right now. I haven’t always had the best experiences with representatives of First Citizens so this was SO refreshing to experience. The tellers are almost always very nice in person, (especially at this branch) but the phone calls through their call centers can definitely be frustrating. No one from this bank (or any bank I’ve dealt with) has ever gone out of their way to be this helpful. I really wish I could recall her name, because she did a very kind thing for me this morning and I’m so grateful. I really can’t say enough good things about this. Faith in this institution renewed.
