Not a good bank to do business with if you ever have a problem you will get the run around treatment. The managers have no ability to help its all run out North Carolina branches. So if you have a big problem you are screwed. None of the south carolina branches have the ability to make any decisions and there attitude is simply. We Don't care about the customer at all. It's up to the bosses sitting in the big office in Raleigh whether or not you get any help.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from first bank. I cannot recommend them in good conscience to any one.

Verify dissatisfied withthis bank. We have have our mortgage and business account here. When I first opened the business account they charged me 6.50 per account for paper statements. They don’t ask you if you want them or not when you set up the account like all other banks do. They say “it’s in the paperwork we gave you and you have to cut it off when you set up your online acct”. After the fact of course. Now, we added a user to the business account and guess what, they charge $7.50 per month to add an online user to the account . “Digital fee”. What a rip off! They don’t even do anything. You set it up yourself. The customer service lady cant even give me an explanation as to why they charge the fee or what does it cost first citizens that they have to charge customers this fee?. Just taking money because it’s a business account. They act like communist. Every time I go into the Camden office it’s a long wait and barely anybody working. When I first set up the accounts I waited two hours to be seen, with no one ahead of me except for who was already in the office. This is just the beginning. I’ve had the worst experiences here and look forward to changing banks. Im 44 years old and never seen anything like this.
