Took out money from their ATM was charged $3.50, went inside to get smaller bills and was told NO you need an account to change money. ?? So I just paid $3.50 to your bank and now I cant get the denominations I need???? Sorry you need an account to change money. Do yourself a favor bank somewhere else. Unbelievable.....

When presented with a valid power of attorney, instead of honoring the document as required by state law, they closed my mother's account, causing financial damages, including missed social security payments, among other things. Go to Chase. Go to Wells Fargo. Anywhere but South State Bank.
