- HSHunter SanbornNov 22, 20251.0I’ve banked with Wells Fargo my entire life, but little experiences like this make me consider switching banks. I live 15-20 minutes from the branch in town, so it’s always a trip for me to go to the bank. I got caught by the bridge today, so despite leaving my house to be at the branch well before they closed at noon, I parked as the clock ticked over to 12:00 o’clock. I was hopeful that they would be friendly and let me make a quick deposit, since I was less than 30 seconds late walking up to the door. Instead, I got told very curtly “we’re closed” and they shut and locked the door. I get that you have hours, but it would’ve been an incredibly easy act of customer service to stay 3-5 minutes after close to help me out. I’m simply disappointed to not be valued as a customer - I wasn’t banging on the doors 20 minute after close, I was walking up as the doors were getting locked while the clock still showed 12:00.

Which was highly appreciated as other banks have been very resistant. Id had to supply two forms of id and a proof of adres. But i did not need a ssn or itin. So a big thumbs up for forward thinking Wells Fargo. They respect laws as well as customers. 5*
