Mark was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. Everything went so smoothly that we decided to close our accounts with other banks and consolidate with Coastal States. His team—especially Lanisha and Sheila—has been outstanding. They’re friendly, helpful, and have already made us feel like longtime customers. It’s such a refreshing change from dealing with a national lender, where we always felt like just a number. My father was a career banker, and I’ve always admired how he treated his customers. The Beaufort branch of Coastal States Bank reminds me of the way my dad ran his branch—open, kind, and genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find that kind of personal touch these days. Mrs. Sheila opened my bank account and the Manager Mrs Natalie came over to introduce herself to me. I felt at home and I left with my debit card as well as my online banking set up the same day! The branch is also very nice and clean!

The manager and the entire staff is top tier! I highly recommend them. I went in asking for a checking account and they took their time and explained all of the accounts to me .
