  I recently sold my condo, and immediately after signing with the notary, I went to deposit the certified cheque at your Chabanel branch only a few minutes away from the notary office. Fully expecting a hold due to the large amount, I came prepared with the notary documents and the certified cheque, and politely requested that $20,000 remain available, as I am leaving for vacation and need to exchange the money. The teller was kind and willing to help, but after speaking with the manager, I was completely shut down. Despite explaining my situation clearly and even offering to show my credit card flight booking the manager simply said, “That’s procedure,” and showed zero willingness to help or find a solution. I also reminded her that I’ve been a loyal client for over a decade, and that my mortgage is with TD Bank. Still, nothing. Even when I mentioned that I had recently deposited a $14,000 cheque at your Laval branch and no hold was placed, she refused to budge. At that point, I took my cheque and documents, drove all the way to Laval, explained the situation again, and within five minutes, the manager there reviewed the details and said, “No problem, we can help you,” and released the funds I needed. Quick, professional, and respectful exactly how customer service should be. This experience confirmed what I suspected: at Chabanel, clients are just numbers, and “procedure” takes precedence over actual customer care. It's not about the policy it's about the way it's handled. One branch saw me, listened, and helped. The other just dismissed me. I am seriously reconsidering my relationship with your bank, and I strongly suggest that Chabanel’s management reflect on how they treat long-time clients especially when other branches prove that solutions are possible.

  La guichetière inventait des "lois" pour refuser une opération. Une autre succursale n'a eu aucun problème avec la transaction. Perdez pas votre temps, allez à une autre succursale.

  Aucun respect à cette succursale TD Chabanel de la part des employés rencontrés. Aucun suivi de dossier et aucun retour d’appel n’est fait de la part de Gary Ingilizian (conseiller) et Mounia Quahtane (directrice). Ces gens ne veulent pas travailler correctement. Évitez cette place à tout prix, vous allez perdre votre temps.

  Bina was super helpful! I'm brand new to the city and province and was super intimidated about dealing with the issue I had at an unfamiliar location. She was able to fix my issues and was super kind and friendly about it, which really put my mind at ease. If you're a TD client I highly recommend using this branch.
