It’s a sad state of affairs when those who deal directly with money have no respect for the customer. While I managed to escape with a solidly mediocre experience, witnessing staff yelling at a woman clearly hard of hearing was an alarming sight to say the least.

Instead of clear support, staff were dismissive, smiled through our explanation of a serious security issue, gave us the wrong number to call for the card, printed the wrong account statement with no apology, and told us to “just do it in the app” when we asked for help with his chequing after locking it for safety. For a senior client with limited french and long-standing high balances at TD, this attitude and lack of professionalism are unacceptable. This branch urgently needs better training on fraud procedures, accessibility, and basic respect.
