Grosse ligne d’attente perte de temps. Les clients ne sont pas priorisé ici. Next step changer de branch ou changer de banque! Aucun sens attendre si longtemps.
Rendu en avant, je vois un gars à lunette littéralement évacher sur le coin de la porte derrière le comptoir à rien faire pour aider son collègue. Je demande au Teller - Est ce que c’est le manager? Il me répond qu’il est Teller et qu’il est en pause! Man prend ta pause après le rush. Le gars se foutait raide d’aider les gens en regardant son cell.

As a former employee of another major bank and someone familiar with standard banking procedures, I am genuinely shocked by the level of disorganization and incompetence I’ve experienced with TD. This entire process has reminded me why I have never banked with TD before — and why I won’t in the future.
I applied for a simple savings account online and completed the application. I was presented two options to verify my identity. 1. Online through photo and ID. 2. Branch appointment. I tried the first option online as it was easier, however the website had frozen and I was unable to continue. I then received an email instructing me to book an appointment at a branch to verify my identity before 12/25/2025. In the meantime, I was now able to log in online.
I called TD to clarify whether I could still verify online, as was previously suggested in the application, but was told I had no choice — I had to go to the branch as the email stated.
The next morning, I suddenly couldn’t log in at all. I booked an appointment, only to receive a call within an hour later from Joanne, the employee I booked with, telling me an appointment wasn’t needed and I could just go to the counter to verify my ID’s, contradicting the email I had received.
I went to the branch around 4:30 PM. Two employees verified my ID, and one told me the account was unblocked and everything was good to go. I went home — still locked out. Multiple login attempts failed.
Already frustrated, I called the TD EasyLine. They said they couldn’t help and said I would need to speak to the right department which was Fraud. They transferred me to Fraud. Fraud then told me to speak to Loss Prevention, so I was transferred again. After all this back-and-forth, Loss Prevention finally told me I needed to go back to the branch and call them while I’m at the branch, even though I had just been there and was told everything was resolved. None of the previous call center employees had informed me of this requirement, nor had the branch handled it properly the first time. I had just completed a full circle of branch visits and call transfers, only to be told to go back to the branch.
This entire experience highlights a serious lack of communication and training between departments, as well as a complete disregard for the customer’s time.
To make matters worse, I consented to OAP identity verification upon opening my account online — which is specifically not supposed to trigger a hard credit inquiry as stated on the TD Website. The following morning of the application, I received notice from Equifax that TD had performed a hard inquiry without my permission. This issue remains unresolved.
This has been the most unnecessarily complicated and poorly handled account opening I have ever experienced. An absolute joke. For these reasons, I will not be continuing with TD and will be closing my newly created account and will not be pursuing any additional products and services that I was initially interested in.

Pauvre filles qui doivent travailler avec un tel superviseur.
Ont m’envoie un message sur mon cell pour hne transaction que j’ai pas approuver. La fille m’assiste pour refaire ma carte. Super gentille. Elle demande mon permis et assurances maladies. Je lui donne et ont realise que j’ai assurance maladies expirer depuis 2 mois.. Elle va donc demander a son superviseur la procedure. Monsieur reste assis a son petit bureau et la fait faire du va et viens pour me parler.
As tu ci, as tu ca.. lorsque elle retourne pour la troisieme fois je l’entend dire demande lui papiers de son autos ou une factures d’hydro a son nom. J’ai l’auto fournis donc pas de papiers et je suis en colocation je ne suis pas proprio donc pas de compte a montrer non plus. Je repond donc a sa question puisque je suis tanner de voir la fille se demener pour moi. Je suis superviseur a ma job je sais que cest son devoir de venir me parler pour regler la situation. Il sort sa tete de son cubicule et commence a pogner les nerf a me dire Excuse moi je lui parle a elle donc tu va attendre je lui donne les indications pour t’aider. Je suis comme ok mais tant qua la faire faire 12 aller retour et congestionner ton contoure pourquoi tu viens pas juste me parler direct. Il pogne les nerf et me dit que je suis chanceux qu’il ne me fasse pas sortir a cause de mon attitude ( attitude du au fait que TD block mon compte, jai meme le message dans les mains sur Mon cell qui la causer et ont me traite comme un criminel qui veux voler ).
Pour que finalement monsieur se leve de sa chaise et vienne enfin m’assister mais cette fois si pas capable de me regarder c’est comme parler a un mur. Service vraiment degeulasse. Il me dit je peut pas te faire de carte mais tu peux retirer de l’argent. En bas de 5000 que tu na surement pas de toute facon.
J’ai finalement vider mon compte et je n’est toujours pas de carte car ont ne peut m’en faire une. Mais vider le compte ca ya pas de probleme.
Je suis donc pogner un vendredi pour aller me magasiner une nouvelle banque.
Pire service a la clientèle que j’ai jamais vue.
Honestly pauvre fille a l’avant qui font un super travail mais son prises avec un gars comme ca. Aucune manière qui joue a ca x1000 mais qui est pas capable d’offrir un bon service et d’avoir un peut d’intégrité sur son milieux de travail.
A ma job il serais deja dehors. Le respect est une base peut importe le client.
T’emporter car je te dit de venir m’assister au lieux de faire faire le va et viens 12x a une fille qui ne peut m’assister elle ne peut prendre de decisions, c’est ordinaire et tres decevant. Tu travail dans une banque tes pas sa construction, c’est pas compliquer travailler a l’air clim et au chauffage. Ta choisis le service à clientèle, agis en tant que tel.
Du gars avec la grosse barbe qui finalement a pu retirer tout son argent mais pas refaire sa carte. Quel joke pareil, elle est ou la sécurité? J’ai l’argent … utilise ta logique un peut.
