  Everybody should experience customer service this horrible at least once in their lives. You'll wonder if they are deliberately trying to chase away their customers. For those of you who value your sanity, there's a TD branch right by the Super C supermarket that's just off highway 13. I'm happy to share some memorable past experiences (a top 3 list) with my fellow masochists: 1. I call head office and tell them this branch does not pick up their phone. Head office gets back to me with: "You're right. We called. They don't pick up their phone." 2. The branch manager tells me he WOULD PREFER (insisted that) we use the ATMs TODAY. I wondered if the local restaurant managers would prefer that we just order hot dogs TODAY (less work for their staff). note well: I ALWAYS used the ATMs...until their new cheque reading technology made it impossible. It does not read the cheque from my biggest customer. I now try to age gracefully waiting in line for tellers to finish their long conversations whilst serving their friends. 3. I'm offered a line of credit. I ask: what's the catch? They reply: no catch. Weeks later, I see that I just signed up for life insurance and get charged a premium based on the outstanding balance of my line of credit. They do not apologize for this deception. They tell me they're in the right. I signed (for a line of credit) and it's in the small print that they get to sell me insurance also. LOL Bonus highlight: I ask the teller for change. She says: "I will be right back with your change." I wait over 10 minutes. She was nowhere to be seen. I'm guessing she took a washroom break right in the middle of serving me instead of handing me a roll of change first. I just wanted a roll of change. The previous reviews about how it takes 20 minutes to serve two customers is not that much of an exaggeration. I have ordered a pizza from next door and waited in line with four tellers working and two or three people ahead of me in line at the bank. The pizza was ready before I was served at the bank. You really need to experience this level of customer service at least once. You will start looking around for hidden cameras and wonder who is pulling this joke on you.
