- PLPaul LombardoNov 14, 20201.0Jeff is a friendly guy. We started talking one day and I thought I'd move over an act and gave him a shot for a year. In that year he had ideas, but I was making a lot more money with someone else, so I transfered my act to someone else. Thats investing. No harm no foul. Always called me back. Met with me whenever I wanted. Great charts and graphs for retirement etc. The reason for the poor review is the OUTRAGEOUS commissions. They varied from 2.5% - 13.8%! I wouldn't suggest using him/them because of that. I think that's absurd. They also get you for commissions buying, selling and reinvesting dividends. I never heard of having to pay fees or commissions on reinvesting dividends. Their fees are simply just too high. Perhaps if I made money on the advice from Jeff, I could overlook the commissions, but that wasn't the case. Maybe that's why Edward Jones isn't that popular anymore.
