Worst business to work with hands down! Had a SunTrust account that got bought by this bad establishment and have had a hard time paying the bills without late fees for their untimely posting of payments. Try to pay on the phone... been on hold several times over 45 min and still no answer! Finally get through after calling a random branch 5 states away to get a better phone number and closed account... now have a bill for a random late fee after account closed and... on hold currently for .. 30 min as I post this! Worst company please save your self and run the other way from them!

Good experience. All banks have ups and downs like business hours or online troubles. But at Truist everyone at all 5 branches I've visited were very nice and professional always

They shut your card off then say there is no issue. Then they hold your money hostage

Frequently Asked Questions About Truist

Do you need a debit card and checks? A safe place to save money you’ve earned? Or both? Check out our checking and savings account options to find the best one for you.

Checking accounts are used for day-to-day transactions, like buying something online or at a store with a debit card, sending money digitally, writing a rent check, or depositing cash and checks. You can open your new account any way you want. (Note that Truist CDs can only be opened at a branch.)

Online: Get started right away by opening your account online. You’ll have to wait a few days for your debit card and checks to arrive by mail—or you can visit a branch to get a temporary debit card ASAP. Branch: Visit a branch near you during business hours to open your new account. Bonus—you’ll walk out with a ready-to-use temporary debit card with your new checking account.
