- IKIrina KernsMay 7, 20251.0When I first called to the bank explaining that I would like to pay off my car loan, but by last name has changed. I want to make sure to get the title under the new name. I’ve been told “why don’t you pay it off and then change the name on the title after?” I had to repeat myself. After that I’ve been told “ok come over”. While the representative was changing my name I repeated twice. “Please make sure title arrives under new name”. Title arrived. Under my maiden name. When I called the bank back I was told that they have nothing to do with it and I needed to change it with the state. I guess there is a form that needs to be filled out… Well nobody told me that. Reply was “she assumed you’d know”. Clearly I didn’t since I’ve asked TWICE. Just do your job people, please! And if you mess up have a courage and respect to at least apologize instead of throwing snarky comments when the customer calling upset and it’s your mistake. Just unbelievable. Now I have to pay for the title correction. Just wonderful.
