I am an officer in a non-profit youth soccer team. We had opened numerous accounts with BB&T before the Truist merger. My first time dealing with Truist was phenomenal. We were able to straighten out our accounts and merge them into one and the customer service person was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Plus she had a great, happy, and welcoming attitude.

Proceed with caution. This branch of the bank lures new customers in and then totally discards them. Smiling tellers make efforts to appease long-time customers with chit-chat but the financial and customer services are extremely poor and archaic and fail to adhere to the Truist values of banking.

Doing business with BB&T is difficult. I got so frustrated I made an appointment to visit the Chestnut Hill Philadelphia branch at 9 AM today, 7/20//20. No one was there - wasted trip. When I call customer service I'm told I've got the wrong line, am given the same number I called or if I am being helped the line goes dead. Makes me want to get another bank!
