I was there to have my debit card unblock and I went to this TD Bank because this one is the closest to the particular area I was in. I asked the black woman who is the only security guard in the bank about where do I go for customer service and she told me to go to the front desk over there in a rude manner and not friendly at all. Then I talked to this front desk lady who is also black and at first she seems okay but as soon as I mentioned something particular in where I got my debit card declined and almost instantly, she giggled like she thinks it is funny to her. It wasn't like I'm telling her a joke or anything and I'm just explaining on how I got my debit card declined. After all that, she told me to go over to the customer waiting area. I haven't been to this particular TD Bank before so I got a little lost and sat on one of the customer seat on one of those small tables where staff or manager will talk to you. Then I noticed that black woman security guard went over to the front desk lady (the same one who I just talk to a while ago) and the security guard told her something and both of them giggled and then looked at me. The security guard walked over and told me that I'm sitting in the wrong area and it's over there. I just don't like the way they giggled at me, just because I made a small mistake like that? Definitely won't be going to this particular TD Bank if I knew this was going to happen. Both of them, the black woman security guard and the black front desk lady should be fired for their rude and sarcasm behavior. I wish to give this place zero stars if I can but one star is the lowest.

Worst service ever. Was told a process takes 3-5 business days, 10 business days later and they mad at me for being upset that the process still hasn’t been completed. I was told multiple I’ve be called and updated, that never happened. Like literally not one call to update. The unprofessional work environment run by the manager AND assistant manager is mind blowing. Wish I’d never set foot in this place. I hope they both get demoted.

Beware investors and business clients.
They let me open an account out of state, I intended to use TD for international transfers. Needless to say they were lacking in that functionality so I needed to close the account. In my attempt to close the account and take out my money I was instead met with all tied up funds and was being "limited" from withdrawing my funds. They even asked me to drive to a nearest location!!! (I AM STATES AWAY!)
This process has been going on for over two months, approaching three. So finally as a work around they suggested to write myself a check.... With their checkbook (They charged me $18 for a check order so I can get a single check out of it!). That is the straw that broke this camel's back.
After so much opportunity cost in time and tied up funds - I am almost rid of TD bank and will never use them in my life again. I hope that their effort to save "$18" instead of waiving me this fee will cost them. If I can sway even one investor or business client away from TD bank from this review it will have been worth it.
I should never have reached out to them. I can't wait for this to soon be water under the bridge. TD bank, never again.
