  Banked with FNB since before the metro merger (around 13 years) but after an immature "manager" refused to let me access MY OWN Funds or to give me a check to pay my rent I was forced to close my account. Corporate was very nice in assisting complaints on the branch and manager and escalating it to the branch managers boss without me having to ask citing a security concern for having what the branch manager described to me as a NON EMPLOYEE working the cash drawers behind the counter due to being under staffed.. under NO circumstances should a NON EMPLOYEE be assisting with personal bank accounts. and under no circumstances should I ever be denied access to my own money or checks. Members first on the other hand has been a blessing. Pick a real bank don't take the bottom of the barrel. I'd give 0 stars if I could Didn't even realize this bank has a 1.9 review. That speaks for itself.

  If I could give this bank zero stars I would. My fiance had to close his account today because he was literally refused service and treated like complete crap by the BRANCH MANAGER who was being extremely unprofessional when he asked to get a check to pay rent ( Like we do every month for the past 9 years). He went in with our daughters and they felt uncomfortable with the way there father was being talked to by the two ladies behind the counter. The BRANCH MANAGER then proceeded to tell him that the 2nd lady behind the counter that was touching money and doing transactions was not an employee of the bank.( So why is she behind the counter). Account was closed and we will never be banking with first national again.

  I've had more problems with this bank since they switched from Metro than any other bank I've ever used. I made a deposit a couple weeks ago and when I checked the slip it was off by $675! Luckily I caught it and entered the correct amount in my register. I've had overdraft money transferred for no reason at all. And they charge me a fee every time they transfer money to cover an overdraft, plus a yearly fee to have that service - all of which was free with Metro. Go across the street to Wells Fargo if you are planning on opening a new account. Don't go here!
